Immigrant Rights, Boston Marathon & Donate to Win
Support Stride for Stride for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind commissioned painting by renowned artist, Joey Africa.
Hello friends of Stride for Stride. We’ve been busy over the past two weeks distributing Know Your Rights Red Cards*, contacting immigrant lawyers to hold immigrant rights Zoom meetings with the team, and adding another therapist to our Mental Health in Stride program. It’s a stressful time for our team so we’re grateful to you, our donors, that we can offer free mental health therapy for anyone on the team who needs/wants it.
Additionally, we’ve been busy preparing for the spring race season. The Hyannis Half-Marathon will be our first big race of the year, followed by the 305 Half in Miami, and the NYC Half in NYC, obviously. And, April 21st is the 129th running of the Boston Marathon. This year Stride for Stride will have 23 runners and 4 charity runners in the Marathon - our biggest Boston team ever.

*Know Your Rights Red Cards
“All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The Know Your Rights Red Cards were created to help people assert their rights and defend themselves against constitutional violations. Knowing and asserting rights can make a huge difference in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. Red cards provide critical information on how to assert these rights, along with an explanation to ICE agents that the individual is indeed asserting their rights.”
